When you hire a builder you know that they're accredited and that your build will meet the Australian standard requirements.
In my many years of building, i have often come across clients that have hired me to redo/repair work that has been done by other people that have tried to do work outside of there skill level.
For those that are unaware, any job that totals over $20,000.00 is by law to be done by a licensed person that has home warranty insurance.
Anything over $5,000.00 you should have a contract.
